Sprott-Shaw Community College has been around for more than 100 years and is the oldest college in British Columbia, Canada. The college has more than twenty campuses located in different towns of Western Canada, making it easy for students to access a course. Every year, more than 4,500 students walk out of the college with a course certificate.
The classes at Sprott Shaw are small enough for every instructor to give individual attention to the students. Students are made to take two courses simultaneously so that they can finish their course in a shorter time. This enables them to join the workforce earlier to earn back their course fees. Graduates get jobs in related fields; for example, folks who do health care courses get entry level positions as nurses, pharmacy technicians or community support workers at pharmacies and hospitals.
